One Family at a Time: Home Reconstruction and Family Support

The “One Family at a Time” initiative focuses on creating profound, lasting change for resource-poor women and their families living in deplorable conditions. We go beyond temporary aid to provide a foundation for a new life through home renovation, furnishing, and sustainable livelihood support.

Project Components:

• Renovation and construction of homes

• Furnishing with bedding, furniture, and household utensils

• Provision of capital and materials for business establishment

• Scholarship support for children

Project Highlights:

Katsina State:

• Constructed a new house for a widow in Dutsi LGA

• Provided capital for her to commence business

• Provided scholarships, feeding, and clothing for her children

Ondo State:

• Constructed a new house for a 70-year-old woman caring for 4 grandchildren in Ago-Debo Community, Ilaje LGA

• Placed all 4 children under Bruderhilfe Scholarship scheme

• Provided basic living necessities for the family

Lagos State:

• Refurbished and equipped homes for persons with disabilities

• Provided bedding, furniture, and household utensils

• Provided capital and materials for business establishment
